Automotodrom Brno has hosted two distinct racing circuits over its history. The original configuration used public roads and stretched 18 miles at its longest, with the track named after Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk, the first president of Czechoslovakia. Major events like the Czechoslovakian Grand Prix drew top international teams and drivers to this street circuit until racing there ended in 1986, when a new permanent facility opened. The Motorcycle Grand Prix of the Czech Republic remains the circuit's flagship event, held here since 1950 and considered the nation's most celebrated motor race. This event became part of the World Grand Prix in 1965. Beyond motorcycles, the venue has hosted the FIA World Touring Car Championship, FIA GT1 World Championship, Formula Two, and Superbike World Championship. Historically, the circuit ranks among the oldest in Europe and has staged more motorcycle championships than any other venue except the TT Circuit Assen.

MotoGP hospitality typically starts with grandstand seats combined with hosted lounge access, food and drink. The VIP Village is MotoGP's official hospitality programme: premium grandstand views, gourmet catering, pit-lane access and (event-dependent) rider appearances. For MotoGP at Automotodrom Brno, plan to arrive at least 2 hours before each day's first session. Race day (Sunday) sees the biggest crowds — leave extra time for parking and gates.
To sit together, buy all tickets in the same category in a single order — the supplier allocates adjacent seats within an order whenever the category and inventory allow. Separate orders aren't guaranteed to land next to each other, even in the same category. If sitting together is essential, choose a hospitality package or a smaller reserved-seating category where consecutive seats are easier to confirm.
