Twin Ring Motegi sits in Tochigi Prefecture and offers a unique dual-track setup: an oval circuit spanning 2.493 kilometres alongside a 4.8-kilometre road course. Honda built the facility in 1997 with a specific vision—to establish a Japanese home for the IndyCar Series and deepen the company's understanding of American open-wheel racing. The venue has undergone a significant evolution. From March 2022, it operates under a new identity as Mobility Resort Motegi, a rebrand that marked the facility's 25th anniversary.
