The Renaissance Club sits in East Lothian, four miles west of North Berwick and within striking distance of Edinburgh. Over recent years it has become a significant venue on Scotland's professional golf calendar, hosting a succession of major tournaments that draw players and spectators from across the country. The club has welcomed the Scottish Open on multiple occasions, most notably staging the championship annually from 2019 through 2025. It also hosted the Scottish Senior Open in 2017 and twice welcomed the Ladies Scottish Open, in 2019 and 2020. These events have established the Renaissance Club as a respected test of championship golf.
