Swansea City's home ground opened in 2005 as the Liberty Stadium, a purpose-built venue that transformed the city's sporting landscape. Located in Landore, the all-seated stadium began with a capacity of 20,750 and has since grown to 21,088 through minor layout adjustments. It remains the largest purpose-built stadium in Swansea and ranks as the third largest across Wales. The club gained full operational control of the stadium in 2018. When Swansea City reached the Premier League in 2011, the ground became the first top-flight football stadium in Wales. Beyond football, the venue hosts rugby union and serves as a conference space, making it genuinely multi-purpose. In European competitions, it operates under the name Swansea Stadium to comply with advertising regulations.
