Circuit Park Zandvoort is a 4.259 km, 14-corner permanent circuit set among the sand dunes on the Dutch North Sea coast, just 30 minutes from Amsterdam. After a 36-year hiatus, the venue returned to the Formula 1 calendar in 2021 and has since become one of the most atmospheric race weekends of the season, powered by the passionate ‘Orange Army’ of Max Verstappen fans.
An extensive upgrade in 2024 added new banked corners and reworked sections of the dune-lined layout, making Zandvoort one of the most challenging and dynamic tracks in Europe. With direct trains from Amsterdam Centraal, short flights into Schiphol, and a city break on your doorstep, it is one of the most accessible Grands Prix on the calendar.

The Arena out Grandstand is located just before turn 13, one of the final turns of the circuit. See how drivers battle for the best position as they break down before taking this sharp turn to the right. Even though it is the last arena grandstand, you still get soaked up in the atmosphere of the arena where thousands of fans are cheering on their favorite driver. This grandstand is uncovered and offers numbered seats with views on a big screen.
Eastside 1 is the first grandstand located at the outside of the circuit short straight between turn 10 and turn 11. The DRS zone at this part of the circuit will offer the drivers overtaking opportunities. You will see the drivers accelerate when they exit turn 10 and drive towards the Hans Ernst turn, which makes this a great choice for speed lovers. This numbered grandstand also offers views on a giant screen.
Eastside 4 is located between turn 12 and 13 around the corner of the arena area. This bronze grandstand offers views on the drivers exiting turn 12 and accelerating towards the last part of the circuit. While this grandstand is not located inside the arena area, you will still feel the atmosphere and experience the action that takes place at this part of the circuit. The grandstand is numbered and offers views on a giant screen.

With plenty of international flights available too, fans from across the globe can easily access the circuit.
Zandvoort accommodates around 105,000 spectators across grandstands, hospitality suites and general admission areas. The momentous return of the race in 2021 set a record with 110,000 fans daily, and on race weekend it remains one of the most colourful crowds in F1, with an unmatched sea of orange supporting Max Verstappen.

Most fans base themselves in Amsterdam and travel out by train, with direct services from Amsterdam Centraal to the circuit taking around an hour. Schiphol Airport is also well connected, with direct flights from the UK in under an hour, and shuttle buses running on race days. Driving is possible too, but local roads can be busy on Sunday morning so leaving plenty of time is essential.
The Dutch Grand Prix is held in late August, when the Netherlands typically enjoys warm summer days in the low to mid 20s°C, with cooler sea breezes off the North Sea. Rain showers are not unusual on the coast and can change the complexion of a race in seconds — Zandvoort in mixed conditions has produced some of the most dramatic Grands Prix of the modern era.
