Driving here demands exceptional machinery. Competitors spend roughly 85% of each lap at full throttle, subjecting engines and drivetrains to relentless punishment. The extreme braking zones—where speeds plummet from over 322 km/h to around 100 km/h through corners like the sharp turn at Mulsanne—ravage suspension and brake systems alike. The on-site motorsport museum, positioned near the main entrance, documents the venue's storied racing heritage.
