The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is a 4.664 km, 16-corner circuit located in Montmeló, around 20 kilometres outside Barcelona. Opened in 1991, it has been the permanent venue for the Spanish Grand Prix ever since and has long served as the premier track for Formula 1 pre-season testing. Drivers and engineers consider it a true 'all-round' circuit — a balanced mix of high-speed straights, technical sequences, and slow corners that tests every aspect of car performance.
The circuit is easily accessible from central Barcelona via the R2 train line, which connects Montmeló directly to the city centre. Spectators frequently combine race weekends with sightseeing — Gaudí's Gothic masterpieces, the Mediterranean coast, and Catalan tapas bars are all within easy reach.

Main Grandstand: running along the pit straight, with views of the start/finish line, pit stops, and the run into Turn 1 — the most popular grandstand for many fans. Grandstand M: set on the hill in the middle of the circuit, looking down on the sharp Turns 4 and 5 — a strong choice for action and atmosphere. Paddock Club & Panorama Village: the premium hospitality areas, with panoramic views over Turns 1, 5, 6 and 7, gourmet catering, and an open bar.
