BCF Arena has been the centrepiece of ice hockey in Fribourg since 1983. The venue underwent a comprehensive transformation between 2018 and 2020, emerging as a thoroughly modern facility that nearly doubled its original capacity. Today it accommodates 9,262 spectators across 6,434 fixed seats and standing room for 2,500. The arena serves as home to HC Fribourg-Gottéron, the city's National League ice hockey team. Beyond the main seating bowl, the venue caters to diverse audiences with 6 restaurants, 12 concessions stands, 336 suite seats, and 76 Dine & View positions that combine dining with views of the action.
