The Autodromo Nazionale Monza is a 5.793 km, 11-corner permanent circuit set inside a royal park north of Milan, opened in 1922 and one of the three oldest purpose-built racing venues in the world. Known as the Temple of Speed, it has hosted every Italian Grand Prix bar one since the Formula 1 World Championship began in 1950.
Monza sits around 25 minutes by train from Milan Centrale, making it easy to combine a race weekend with a city break. The atmosphere is unmatched anywhere on the F1 calendar — a sea of red tifosi flooding the track on Sunday after the chequered flag, chanting for Ferrari beneath the podium.
