Nestled in Scarperia e San Piero near Florence, Mugello Circuit spans 5.245 kilometres with 15 turns and a distinctive 1.141 kilometre straight. The stadium can accommodate 50,000 spectators. Since 1988, Ferrari has owned the track and continues to use it for Formula One testing. The circuit has hosted major international racing events. MotoGP and its support classes return annually, whilst the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters held events here in 2007 and 2008. Most notably, Mugello welcomed its first Formula One race on 13 September 2020—the Tuscan Grand Prix—which also marked Ferrari's 1000th Grand Prix appearance. This historic event came as part of that season's restructured calendar.

The Poggiosecco uncovered grandstand is situated on the outside of the track at the renowned Poggio Secco corner (turn 3) . Spectators in this area can take in views of the circuit from turn 2 to turn 7, along with more distant sightlines of the main straight.
