Munich's Allianz Arena is instantly recognisable by its distinctive inflated ETFE plastic exterior, which can change colour across its surface—a world first when the stadium opened. The ground holds 70,000 spectators for international fixtures and 75,000 for domestic matches, making it Germany's second-largest stadium. Bayern Munich moved in for the 2005–06 season, having spent three decades at the Olympic Stadium. The naming rights belong to the financial services company Allianz, though UEFA and FIFA competitions require the stadium to go by Football Arena Munich instead. The venue has hosted major events including the Champions League Finals and Euro 2024 matches, and in 2022 it became the first German stadium to stage a regular season NFL game. The Bayern Munich museum, FC Bayern Erlebniswelt, has occupied a permanent home inside the arena since 2012.
