The Japanese F1 Grand Prix has been on the Formula One calendar since 1976. Originally hosted in at the Fuji Motor Speedway, the Grand Prix moved to Suzuka two years later. Aside from 2007 and 2008, it has been at Suzuka ever since. The circuit follows an unusual figure-of-eight layout, and is loved by fans and drivers alike. From the fearsome and high-speed 130-R, to the tight and technical Spoon-curve, Suzuka is as much a test of bravery as it is of mechanical durability. Michael Schumacher currently holds the record for number of wins, followed closely by Lewis Hamilton, then Sebastian Vettel.
